“The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the greatest intention.” -Khalil Gibran
Undertaking a hike through Europe like this cannot be done alone. I will need your help in the coming months. There are a number of forms of support I am looking for.
1: Encouragement
I will be walking mostly alone with no one to talk to. Somehow I am looking forward to this, but it is also a bit scary. The most easy (and probably the most important) way in which you can support me is by simply letting me know you think about me. Just send me an e-mail or Facebook message and I will cheer up. You can find my contact details on the contact page.
What I would find really amazing if you walk with me for a couple of days. I like to meet new people, I do not care if I know you or if you are a complete stranger wanting to share in this adventure. You can find my approximate route and schedule on ‘The Route’- page on this site.
2: Food and Shelter
I will bring a tent on my trip, but I know I will appreciate it if every now and then I can take a shower and have a good night’s rest in a proper bed. I simply do not have the money to book hotels, hostels, B&B’s or any of those options every night. I will be relying on the hospitality of people along my way. If you happen to be or to know someone along my route, please contact me and I will be very happy to meet you. You can also have a look at my Couchsurfing profile to see when I will be looking for a couch in your proximity.
3: Money
It feels weird to ask for money on the internet, but stranger things have happened before.
So here’s what you need:

Please mention its for the trek.
If you feel like supporting me in any of the above ways I will be grateful. I have nothing to offer in return really, but I do promise that if ever I write a book about this journey, I will mention your name.
