The lists below show all the gear I traveled with. The left one is with what set out, the right one is what I came back with. Since I decided to continue on bike from about half way, there is some significant difference between the two lists. When I set out, I never had the feeling I missed out on gear, while at the same time I used almost everything I had with me. When I came home, I had the feeling I had too much stuff with me. I will shortly review what I think is really essential to bring, and what I think is more optional on these kind of trips.
